THE eyes of all local rugby fans will be focused on Beggars Brook tonight, as North Petherton play host to near-neighbours Bridgwater & Albion RFC in South West 1 West (kick-off 7.30pm), writes Richard Walsh.
The hosts have won their last four matches - the last of those 26-25 away to Okehampton on Saturday - and sit sixth with 56 points while Albion, in ninth, have lost their last three matches and have 51 points.
Form can very easily go out of the window in local derby games, however; when the two sides met back in early December, Albion triumphed 15-5.
The bar at Pethy will be open from 6pm, and pitch-side hot food and drinks will be available throughout the game.
Pethy are also offering a pre-match buffet, with food being served at 6.30pm (tickets cost £12, which includes a match ticket).
A large crowd is expected, so arrive in plenty of time to allow for parking.
