BRIDGWATER & Albion will be hoping to make it four wins out of four when they host Kingsbridge in South West One (West) at College Way on Saturday afternoon (ko 3pm), writes Richard Walsh.
The last time the two sides met in South Devon back in November it was Albion who claimed the spoils 35-8, so victory would also mean they notch up the double over Kingsbridge, who currently sit second bottom.
However, despite their lowly position, head coach Simon Morrell will not be allowing his rejuvenated Albion team to take their opponents likely.
Morrell said: “In this league there are no easy games, so the boys will have two tough training sessions this week to make sure that they are all set to give it all they have got against Kingsbridge on Saturday.
“Three wins has given us the momentum we need and now any anxiety regarding our remaining fixtures has disappeared.
“Our recent results will also give us that little bit of confidence and arrogance we have been lacking earlier in the year.
“We are certainly now very much up and running and have a strong squad with no major injuries.
“However, we are not going to get ahead of ourselves – we have to train smart this week to keep our momentum going.”
