BRIDGWATER 2nds cruised to nine-wicket victory on Saturday, thanks to destructive half-centuries from Ian Bishop and Liam Kitch.
The opening pair put on 100 for the first wicket as Bridgwater chased down St Andrews’ total in comfortable fashion.
Kitch (56 not) and Bishop (52) dominated from the start, draining the life out of the opposition with some powerful hitting.
Bishop was the first to reach his half century with a series of powerful strokes.
He was caught in the deep not long after, leaving Kitch and Butt (11 not) to ease their side to victory in just 14 overs.
Earlier, Bridgwater’s bowlers put a stop to any thoughts of a big total, as they out in a strong collective display.
Habberfield (3-18) and Higgins (3-40) did the majority of the damage and were well supported by Singleton (2-15) and Clapp (1-17).
