Bridgwater College Women's Football Development Squad progressed to the National British College Futsal Championships after becoming South West champions in Swindon.
In a round robin tournament Bridgwater drew 0-0 with Exeter College before beating them 4-1 in the replay with two goals from Shannon Osman, and one each for Jordan Came and Chloe Stringer sealing the win.
The team then beat Truro College 2-1 twice. In the first game an own goal and one from Abigail Payne were enough and in the replay a Danielle Cross free-kick and a late Natasha Stephens goal settled the match.
This booked a place in the final against Exeter again and a neat finish from captain Stephens saw Bridgwater hold on to win the tournament.
