Toolstation Western League Premier Division

Cribbs 0, Bridgwater Town 3

BRIDGWATER Town leapt into the top half of the Toolstation Western League Premier Division after seeing off Cribbs to record their third league victory in succession.

The Robins survived an early let-off after a slip by the returning Josh White, back in the defence after suspension, but the visitors went ahead after just seven minutes when Shaun Copp found the net.

Jack Taylor fired wide as Bridgwater went into half-time with a one-goal advantage, which was nearly doubled in fine fashion when Mike Duffy saw a long-range effort well saved after the break.

Cribbs began to pile on the pressure late on in search of an equaliser, but a swift counter-attack two minutes from time ended with substitute Harry Horton making the points safe.

Ryan Burrows added further gloss to the scoreline with a third in stoppage time as the Robins continued their good recent away form, with two wins on the road in as many weeks and no goals conceded.

Next weekend sees Town on their travels again, this time to Surrey where they face Farnham in the FA Vase second round.
