HAVING picked up their performance levels in recent weeks only to find themselves on the losing side, Bridgwater Town are looking to get some valuable points on the board as they travel to Wimborne on Saturday (ko 3pm).
The Robins were edged out by Shortwood United last time out due to a combination of missed chances and controversial decisions, and find themselves back at the foot of the table going into this weekend as a result.
New signings Dave Pearse and Jake Llewellyn have slotted into the team well and are likely to play key roles again on Saturday against the mid-table outfit.
Wimborne lost 2-1 at Taunton Town on Tuesday in a match that was watched by Town boss Phil Hucker, so the Robins will have some idea of what to expect from their opponents.
The Magpies will represent a tough challenge, as they drew with league leaders Hereford last weekend before pushing Taunton all the way in midweek.
Hucker has been impressed with the spirit on show within his squad, however, and they will travel with confidence as a result of their improvements since the new manager took charge.
