OVER Stowey beat Hinkley Point and the weather to win by three wickets at the weekend.
Hinkley hit 156-9 in their 30 overs with Mike Barrow taking 3-30 and Jack Rich 3-32 and Alex Troman scored 65 not out and Tim Sullivan 36 with the bat.
In reply, Stowey were in disarray at 24-5 but a crucial 55-run partnership between Jack Rich and Simon Pickard (6) got them back in contention.
After Pickard was out, another crucial partnership between Rich (79) and Kai Baker (27 not out) led Stowey to within seven runs of victory.
In a thrilling finale, Stowey completed the win with four balls remaining to complete the recovery.
