On the other mat, Acorns gained their only points with Barbara Heal/Dave Poole/Graham Wood winning against Ashcott’s Sandra Spring/Janet Lacey/Terry Francis 10-5.
The pairs’ games saw wins for Ashcott – Mary Bisgrove/Jenny Todman winning 14-7 against Mollie Gay/Judith Shackleford; and an 8-4 win for Terry Lacey/Paul Bartlett against Keith Fishlock/Colin Gay.
