FOLLOWING the cancellation of the first tournament of the season due to bad weather, Sunday’s bright sunshine was the perfect day for the juniors to play their opening games of the season.
Bridgwater u-12s, fielding three teams, notched up some excellent results to give them a strong start to the season.
Squad members were: Bethany Day, Lucy Dean, Izzie Draper, Bethany Gibson, Juste Mockeliunaite, Emily Rossiter, Rachel Rowland, Charlotte Setter, Hannah Setter, Georgia Tailby, Chloe Berry, Sophie Cornish, Cerys Ethridge, Emily Harwood, Hana Middleton, Ella Noble, Thalia Rowe, Victoria Toogood, Lydia Tozer and Chloe Trout.
Bridgwater u-14s, comprising two u-13 and two u-14 teams, were similarly successful with one of the u-14 teams winning their three matches.
