Bridgwater 194ao beat Weston-super-Mare 142 by 52 runs
BRIDGWATER will travel to Cornwall to face Werrington in round three of the ECB National Knockout Cup after beating Weston-super-Mare by 52 runs on Sunday.
Kyran Devitt (38), Andy Hallaran (34), Liam Kitch (30) and Tom Pople 18 helped Bridgy to 194 before they were bowled out in the 44th over.
Chris Davidson took 3-46 for Weston, but the North Somerset side could only muster 142 in reply.
Shabil Ahmed scored 61 to give Weston half a chance, but Jack Luff (3-21), Chris Singleton (2-15) and Todd Barrett (2-23) ensured it would be Bridgy who progressed to round three.
Bridgwater's trip to Werrington will take place on May 29, with the winners securing a home tie in the regional final.
