Regional League Two

Jupiter 37 Hucclecote Comets 55

A BATTLING display from Bridgwater Jupiter wasn’t enough to prevent them from slipping to a second successive defeat in Regional League Two.

It was a rapid start to the game and Jupiter took a while to get into the quarter.

Once they found their feet, Paige Davey (GS) converted her shots consistently, which meant Hucclecote didn't completely run away with the quarter.

Quick release through the centre court allowed Amy Portlock (WA) to pinpoint feeds to the shooters – and the whole team defence zone proved difficult for Hucclecote.

Sammy Kemmish (GK), Becky Cowley (GD) and Imma Matcham (WD) were solid in defence, forcing lots of balls off the backline.

Unfortunately Jupiter lost their intensity in the third quarter which meant that Hucclecote pulled away further – a lead Jupiter were unable to overcome. Match Sponsor: TMB Patterns Ltd
