JAKE Bovington had a supreme three days at Enmore Park last week, winning the Lynn White Stableford, finishing runner-up in the Bishop Cup, posting the best score on Captain’s Day and cutting his handicap by two shots.
Three sub-handicap rounds saw Jake cur from 13 to 11 on a remarkable three days of tournament golf.
Rob Acland won the Bishop Cup with a nett 67 after a six on the first hole, which also won him the Junior Bishop Cup.
The Seniors Qualifier Roll Up was won by Jess Lawrence with a fantastic 42 points.

Enmore Park seniors embarked on two successive away fixtures, giving them little success.
Firstly at The Mendip Golf Club, Enmore were only able to manage two wins out of eight contested pairings with another pair gaining a half point.
The winning pairs were Jim Symcox with Derek Kelly (4 & 2), and Jim Smith with David Cousins (2 & 1).
The half point, in the 2½ to 5½ reverse, was won by John Rigler with Graham Pain.
Next up as an encounter on the Wells course, on the same afternoon that Glastonbury pop festival was affected by lightning.
Fortunately all groups were in the shelter of the club house when the storm hit.
Alas away form let Enmore’s scoring down once more, and the home team secured a comfortable six games to two victory.
Enmore’s points were won by Peter Robinson with Iain Stewart (2 & 1) and David Pascoe with Jim Smith (1 up). Enmore now look forward to one more away fixture at Long Sutton before they hold their Seniors Open Championship on Friday.
