A 45-year-old man is due to appear in court today after being charged with an offence linked to the importation of a child sex doll.
Sean Julian Doel, of Bridgwater, has been charged with one count of improperly importing goods to which a prohibition/restriction applies.
The offence comes under Section 50 of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979.
The charge relates to an investigation which began in April 2017 after Border Force officials seized a package containing the doll, which had been sent from China.
Doel is due to appear Taunton Crown Court today (Monday, March 5).
