HAS the council thought it through thoroughly concerning changing the bin collection to three weekly?
I have checked with the collection services and they have informed me that the garden waste collection will remain at two weekly collections with the conditions in their letter that they ‘do not obstruct pavements or roads’.
I have assisted collection, for which I am very grateful, but this new arrangement would mean that every six weeks both bins would be collected on the same day.

My path is not wide enough to accommodate both bins. I feel it would not be safe as the services quotes, to leave one of the bins outside the gate, as it is an archway through to a car park.
The wind could blow the bin over onto a passing car, who would be liable?
