DETECTIVES are continuing their investigation into the death of a woman in Glastonbury yesterday, (February 26).
Officers were called to a property in Watts Corner just before 8.30am by the ambulance service.
Police were later called to a single vehicle collision at Mark involving a car reportedly seen leaving the address in Glastonbury.
A man was injured and trapped in the vehicle. He remains in hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detective Inspector Lorna Dallimore said: “Our sympathies are with the family at this distressing time and a specially-trained officer is giving them support.
“We have not yet completed a formal identification of the woman and have not yet had confirmation of the cause of her death.
“My officers continue to carry out enquiries and I would ask anyone with information about either incident to contact us. You can call us on 101.”
