A BRIDGWATER mum will put her fears to one side and hurtle from the sky this summer to help in the fight against multiple sclerosis.
Mum of four Laura Neale plans to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet, reaching a top speed of 120mph.
The daring feat is all to raise vital funds for the MS Trust, a charity that helps those living with MS.
“I am taking part in Jump in June as I have multiple sclerosis myself,” says Laura, who was first diagnosed with the condition in April 2012.
“This means a lot to me. I need the challenge and excitement.
“I cannot wait to do it, I am very excited.
“ I’m a single parent with four children and I was diagnosed at 29.
“It has been a very hard few years but I am now stronger than I’ve ever been and want to do this for me.
I started with relapsing remitting MS but it has now progressed to secondary progressive MS and I refuse to let it ruin my life.”
