A FUN family day is planned to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in Bridgwater on Sunday (June 3).

Between 12noon and 4pm in the town centre, there will be a street market, food stalls, Jubilee-themed fancy dress competition for children, entertainment, dancers and displays.

Quay West will also be broadcasting, there'll be a window display competition for traders, fair rides and more.

The free event is organised by the Bridgwater Retail Initiative, including Angel Place Shopping Centre, the Bridgwater Mercury, Bridgwater Town Council, Card Factory, GPR Traders, Hooks of Bridgwater, Keys Estate Agents, Quaywest Radio, Sedgemoor District Council, Shauls Bakery and Timeless Images.

This is Bridgwater ,The 2 x Event a year Town (The Fair & Carnival
Anything else they cant be bothered with...Did I see a Street Market !? ..
I saw a lot of Sea-Gull Sh+t all over the Pavements and over the Buildings but thats normal for Bridgwater .

Why do people always have to knock everything!!!!! Sad lot.I was in the high street that day as were hundreds of others all seamed to be enjoying them selves! Not sure what some on this website expect.
