CRASH: Firefighters were called out to Bristol Road, Pawlett shortly before 7am
TWO people required hospital treatment following a car fire near Bridgwater this morning.
The car caught fire following a crash on Bristol Road, Pawlett at 6.47am today (Wednesday, August 2).
Two casualties were taken to hospital with minor injuries as firefighters from Bridgwater set to work to tackle the fire.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue confirmed the cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental.
There were still some traffic delays as the road remained partially blocked at 8am.
