A FIRE crew had to be called out to a property in Nether Stowey last night.
The fire engine from the village was sent to the scene in Lime Street shortly before 9.30pm yesterday (September 10).
On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a chimney fire involving a wood burner.
Crews used chimney gear to extinguish the fire from the hearth.
Duty of care was left with the occupiers.
