FAMILIES and friends headed to Spaxton Flower Show for a day of sunshine and success.
Held on August 6, the event was filled with vegetables, flowers, homemade gifts and arts and crafts.
There was a large number of classes for adults and children and everyone was urged to have a go.
The regular scrapheap challenge also took place, and the scarecrow competition was a huge hit with both young and old.
Outside the marquee were many activities, including children’s sports and tug of war, plus a car boot sale, a produce stall, llamas, a bar, ice creams, homemade cakes and teas, bouncy castle and a raffle.
Taunton Ukulele Strummers Club also made an appearance again
A spokesperson for the show said: "We would like to thank the local businesses who have supported us with advertisements within the schedule and particularly to Jerome Timbrell, director of C2 Safety for kindly printing it for us.
"Thanks must also go to Richard and Simon Dare for allowing us to park in their field."
