WEDNESDAYS are set to turn wild and deadly this summer at Secret World.

Nick Wadham, the creator, owner and presenter of The Wild and Deadly Show, joins the wildlife rescue centre with his live nature stage show every week throughout the summer holidays.

The dates are the July 27 and August 3,10,17, 24, and 31.

In between performances there will be the opportunity to handle many of the insects and reptiles featured.

There’ll also be harvest mice and birds of prey on display, face painters, children’s activities, crafts, food and refreshments as well as fascinating talks for all the family about the various creatures.

Open from 10am to 4pm, with free car parking right next to the site, this is an event not to be missed.

Entry is £4 per adult and £2 per child and is payable on the door.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue is located on New Road, East Huntspill.

For health and safety reasons and safeguarding, children are not permitted to handle tarantulas – even if you have your own as pets at home.
