A MAN has been arrested in Bridgwater after shouting abuse at another person.

Police say the public order incident happened on Monday, July 11, at around 4.10pm outside the Cashino amusement centre in Fore Street.

Three people were leaving the shop when a man shouted abuse at one of them.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We understand that there were people in the area when the incident happened and are keen to speak to them.

"Anyone able to help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 5216152566.

"A 58-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and released on police bail, pending further enquiries."
