A COLLISION on the A39 near Kilve left a motorcyclist trapped under a lorry.
A statement on the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service website said: "Appliances from Williton, Bridgwater and the rescue tender from Taunton were mobilised to an RTC involving a motorcycle and lorry, where the motorcyclist was trapped underneath the lorry.
"Police, Ambulance and the Air Ambulance also attended.
"Crews assisted at the scene in extricating the casualty and making the vehicles safe. The casualty was taken into the care of paramedics."
The A39 Main Road has been blocked as a result of the incident, with police directing the slow traffic.
There were two vehicles involved around Pardlestone Lane and Sea Lane. Emergency services in attendance. Expect delays in the area.
The collision occured at 1.58pm.
