A BRIDGWATER mum is celebrating after being told officially she has made the world’s largest sock monkey.
Jody Lewis, 27, received confirmation from Guinness World Records that she has secured the title, after a seven month wait.
Jody’s monkey is 10ft and 5.59 inches tall and made out of calf-length socks.
Her idea was a way to cross something off her bucket list.
Jody, a mum of two, said: “I would like to thank Lisa Wheller from Lisa’s haberdashery, Peter Brakes, magistrate, and John Morehen of Tamlyns estate agents who officiated the record back in February.
“Thanks to Angel Place shopping centre for letting me hold the measuring there, and to my husband Shane for supporting my crazy ideas."
