Auctioned England shirt raises funds during Bridgwater fundraiser
IT was a case of ‘eyes down and hands up’ at the Bridgwater & Albion Rugby Club for a special charity bingo and auction event in aid of Marie Curie cancer care.
A signed shirt by Liverpool and England striker Daniel Sturridge, courtesy of Vauxhall Motors, was the main attraction, along with other donations from Wincanton Races, Somerset CCC and Yeovil Town FC.
A total of £4,271 was raised on the night.
