A FUNDRAISING ‘Charity Plant Exchange’ in Ashcott has raised more than £300 in support of St. Margaret’s Hospice.
The event was held at Moor Plants on Bath Road where gardeners were invited to bring their surplus bare root plants along and donate them for sale.
Sisters Gilly Hayward and Jenny Hayward-Karlsson, of Moor Plants, where on hand to give any advice to gardeners while volunteers from St.
Margaret’s Hospice served homemade refreshments throughout the morning.
The green-fingered event raised just over £320 for St.
Margaret’s Hospice, helping them to deliver free specialist palliative care to local people.
