WHAT a laugh! The council is cutting down hedges just as nesting time is here and adding nothing to help our depleted wildlife.
Hedges play an important part as they contain lots of insects for birds to feed on plus are a lovely sight (unlike the railings we now see) and gave a lovely touch of green around the area.
Good to see the public are invited to a meeting on completion of the work and not before it began.
