Perhap's in the New Year we will have an Eddition that is worthy, and worthy the. 0.60p.
Or are they afraid to print real News, for fear of upsetting their Advertising Revenue Streams.
We, are likely to lose the Bridgwater Office , shortly in the New Year, with all input from Taunton.
I have already asked the Editor, as to Why we xcannot have a Publication such as the Taunton Gazette. As normal, I get NO REPLY. !!

The thing that gets me is the total lack of any letters page or feedback forum within the pages.

Western Daily Press and even the good old West Somerset Free Press have lively letters pages which are always very pertinent and as far as I'm concerned is a selling point.

Look at the Mercury and week after week there is barely a single "Letters to Editor" If there is, the editorial team reduce to 300 words and seem to be able to remove the important bits or even curtail the letter half way through a sentence.

The editorial team should hold their heads in shame. There is so much going on when you consider EDF & Tesco yet all they can report is carnival.

Come on Murky, give us a decent letters page, after all we will be doing the work for you.

I've written e.mails directly to the Editor, and to the Postbage, as requested to do so, By this Papers Editors, Not even a reply to acknowledge even having been read!!
If one goes to their Editorial Section the last entry was November 2012, really stimulating.
As you and I say, Not Good Enough, re-cycling Dross !!
As, I said in my Correspondence to the Editor, Why Can We not have a Worthy Local Paper, as they have the Monopoly Now, that the Bridgwater Times, and Scan Free papers published by them were withdrawn by them, this Publishing Group.
All we won't is to, have something worth Buying and Reading.
So come on 'The Editorial Team, '
Wake Up & Smell The Coffee, keep the Bridgwater Residents on Board, or risk losing us all 2gether.

So as normal, the Mercury Censors have been at it again, withdrawn the Comments that were actually being Posted by us the readers, and decided that we need to Comment on Fishy Day out for Students, Who gives a Toxx, Award for Riverside Engineers, this is a recycled Acholade Story from November, and 3 chase jobs ??
UBelievable !! Or is it Really,!!!

I await the Coming in 2013, ie the same old recycled garbage, not News not even interesting , I bet there will be a price Increase, as Dross and Dribble costs Highly Paid Journalistic Wagers, Not forgetting the Editors Salary !!!
