Students in Year 9 focused on preparing for further education and employment by listening to talks from professionals in the leisure, construction and media industries, and undergoing a CV writing masterclass.
Year 10 students built on the success of London 2012 by taking part in Olympics & Paralympics Day, which combined practical science and PE skills as well as a visit from Robin Williams, who represented Great Britain in blind football, giving students an insight into the lives of the UK’s sporting heroes.
Year 11 students got involved with team-building, problem-solving and communication activities, while hearing practical information on how best to prepare for life after school.
