BRIDGWATER-based children's charity bibic is planning on investing in some new IT equipment, thanks to a whopping £30,000 donation from Somerset Freemasons.
The Knowle Hall charity - whose full name is the British Institute for Brain-Injured Children - received the donation today (Thursday) from the Provincial Grand Master for Somerset David Jenkins, who was joined by colleagues Peter Elmont and Trevor Thomas for the handover.
The donation will help to pay for new IT equipment for the staff working at bibic and is the latest in a long line of donations from the movement, which has supported the charity since 1988.
Chief executive John Bennett said: "This fantastic donation is truly wonderful for bibic. The staff will be enthused by the new equipment which will increase efficiency enabling us to help even more families."
