A TUNEFUL mum from Bridgwater says she has got the X-Factor and is hoping to wow Simon Cowell and the other judges today (Tuesday) when she auditions in London.

Town 33-year-old Lisa Clarke is hoping to take her first steps to stardom at the Emirates Stadium when she performs Oleta Adams' Get Here on the TV talent show.

The full-time mum already has her audition number and has told the Mercury she is guaranteed to be able to show off her talent in front of the judges.

"It's a song that that I can sing well and it's not out of my comfort zone," she said.

"I am pretty nervous because I am 33, but I am confident that I can sing because I have been told it for so many years.

"I have always wanted to be a singer since I was a little girl wailing in the bath."

Lisa, who has won karaoke competitions in the past, said she had just got engaged and was hoping her happiness would continue into the talent competition.

"I think I have got the X-Factor because I think I am a little bit different, a bit more mature, and appeal to all age groups rather than just one," she said.

"Hopefully the granddads will like me - that's my sense of humour."
