Puriton businessman cycles for cash
A PURITON businessman will be cycling almost 300 miles from Paris to Oxford in just three days to raise cash for charity.
James White, CEO of email marketing group IntouchCRM, will set off from the Arch de Triomphe in Paris on Saturday (June 2) travelling 270 miles to Blenheim Palace in Oxford with friends from B4 Oxford to raise funds for Oxfam.
James, 36, said: “B4 Oxford is a business group who fundraise for different charities and they have chosen Oxfam.
“It will be tough challenge but a good one. We’re hoping to raise in total around £15,000. I’m hoping to raise around £2,000.
“Even if people can spare a few pounds to sponsor me, it would be greatly appreciated, not just by me but by thousands of people who will benefit.”
