Bridgwater College’s Childcare Centre opened its doors to parents and college staff for its annual summer celebration fete.

Children took part in face painting and Fat Cat Theatre, and there were many stalls selling bric-a-brac, cakes and clothing.

Parents took the opportunity to play with their children in the centre’s ‘inspirational’ garden and to join in with reading, playing and computer activities.

The Childcare Centre, at the college's Bridgwater centre in Bath Road, has been rated “outstanding” by Ofsted, and has places for children aged four months to five years.

It will also soon be offering holiday places for children aged five to eight.
