A UNIQUE scheme where old bangers are turned into cash has raised £1,158 for Puriton children's charity bibic.
The organisation has teamed up with social enterprise Giveacar, which sees scrap metal from unwanted vehicles sold off and the proceeds are then donated to worthy causes.
