THE Government should allow Sedgemoor to keep a greater percentage of business rates collected locally, says Sedgemoor District Council leader Duncan McGinty.
Ahead of the Government's Comprehensive Spending Review announcement tomorrow, he told the Mercury: “We are looking for some recognition from the Government of the high level of growth in Sedgemoor, in terms of housing and industry.”
