Crash closes section of the M5
THIS was the scene on the M5 motorway earlier, after a two-car crash between the two Bridgwater junctions.
The crash, involving a Ford Focus and a Rover 25, happened one-mile north of junction 24, leaving one person injured.
The exact nature of their injuries is not yet known.
Emergency services closed the northbound stretch of carriageway, leaving a long tailback of drivers.
The carriageway was back open an hour later.
