A TEAM of cyclists spent a day at Asda in Taunton in a bid to raise cash for the ‘Pedal Power’ initiative.
Members of the Cycle Somerset club were on hand last week giving advice to shoppers while MP Jeremy Brown joined staff in a bicycle challenge.
Asda chief executive Andy Bond, who is planning to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats in aid of the cause, was also there on the day.
All proceeds from the day will go to Pedal Power to help make cycling more accessible and affordable for everybody.
