THE County Gazette’s Win Your Wedding couple are now officially man and wife.
Gemma Payne and David Hartnell were voted as the winners in our competition to win a luxury £20,000 wedding in association with Weddings at Taunton School and Buff Urban Day Spa.
At a relaxed ceremony at Taunton School at 3.30pm today surrounded by family and friends, they became husband and wife.
Guests clapped and cheered as the new Mr and Mrs Hartnell left the ceremony to the superman theme tune.
After the ceremony David said he was “overwhelmed” and that it “wasn’t quite real.”
Gemma, dressed in a stunning floor length white dress was joined by four bridesmaids in brown and cream.
The lucky couple will now enjoy a fantastic evening at the school with a wedding breakfast, speeches and live music followed by fireworks.
