AFTER months of exams and worry students at Taunton School collected their long awaited A Level results today.
Over a fifth of students scored three A grades or better with over 80% scoring A, B or C grades.
Head teacher Dr John Newton said: “I congratulate all the pupils for performing once more beyond our expectations.
“The majority of our pupils outperformed their predicted grades, and I pay tribute to their and the teachers’ hard work.”
Top scorer Katie Glover achieved five A grades and will be studying medicine at Cambridge University, with best friend Linda Chan bagging four A grades and will also be studying medicine at Birmingham University.
With head boy Charles Handford also received a clean sweep of A grades and is another doctor in the making.
