BRIDGWATER Town Council is holding its first big community event in Blake Gardens this weekend.
The May Day Celebration will take place on Sunday, May 5 and feature plenty of free family entertainment.
It starts at 11am in the morning and comes to an end at 3pm.
A council spokesperson said: "We invite you to join us for some springtime fun at our May Day Celebration at Blake Gardens.
"We have a fabulous line-up of free entertainment".
These include a maypole with instructors, Morris dancers, the Rock Choir, Westfield Choir, along with a slew of stalls, face-painting, and a bouncy castle among other attractions.
