TWO properties in Bridgwater's town centre are up for sale, with planning permission already in place for them to be converted into new flats.
The two adjacent buildings are Grade I Listed, and span from 14-16 Castle Street.
According to Vickery Holman Exeter, full planning permission for six flats is already held for the buildings up for sale.
For a price tag of £500,000, the prospective buyer will also become the owner of parking to the rear of the buildings, and a 'genuine rare development opportunity' in 'one of Bridgwater's most sought after areas'.
The buildings sit next-door to Bridgwater Arts Centre, which is planned to undergo some major internal renovations under plans submitted by Bridgwater Town Council in 2023.
In December last year, plans were submitted to Somerset Council to attain permission to convert offices on Castle Street into a 12-bedroom home of multiple occupancy.
Mr F Pover applied to change the usage pf the building, as well as make alterations at 6 Castle Street, historically known as Chandos House.
