A VERY popular village pub near Bridgwater is currently up for rent and needs new operators.
According to the Rightmove listing, the Malt Shovel Inn, in Cannington, will cost its prospective new tenants £3,012 per month (plus VAT).
The pub, which has been without operators since late 2023, is rooted in the local community, and has a rating of 4.5 stars based on over 400 reviews from Tripadvisor and Google.
For those interested, the Malt Shovel Inn features its own restaurant with 50 seats, a bar with a further 55 seats, and a front-and-back beer garden with seating for up to 100 people.
It also has a children's play area, as well as parking for up to 40 cars, and stunning countryside views.
Eight en-suite letting rooms also make up part of the pub's 496 square-metre footprint, comprised of six twin rooms, and two double rooms.
The new operators will receive the building fully-furnished, and also have access to the private one-bedroom owners' flat.
