BRIDGWATER & Albion Rugby Football Club is set to start pre-season training this week as the new campaign fast approaches.

Both the men's and women's side will return to training as will a number of junior teams later this month.

The Men's team will be training on Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm while the Women's team will be on Wednesday from 7pm.

The club is also on a recruitment drive to attract new players, both for men's and women's sections.

A spokesperson for the club said: "Whether you are brand new to the game or looking for a new club, come and get involved!"

And for the women's team in particular, the club has said "no previous rugby experience is required", so if you are looking for a way to get into a sport, then head down to the club.

During the summer months, the club is also offering Walking Rugby sessions, which have already proved popular.

"Looking to get involved? Come down next Thursday from 7pm," the club added.
