BRIDGWATER's children's charity Brainwave participated in the Glastonbury Festival  line-up with first-ever pop-up charity shop.

The charity already visited yesterday on 21 June and will be there till June 25. The festival goers can browse and buy pre-loved items for every occasion, all while enjoying the likes of Elton John, Arctic Monkeys, Guns N Roses, and Freya Ridings, to name but a few.

All proceeds will go towards supporting Brainwave's mission to help children with disabilities across the UK reach their potential.

Keith Sinclair, CEO of Brainwave said:"We're beyond excited for this fantastic opportunity to increase awareness of what we do at the UKs, if not the world's, largest festival of performing arts.

"Not only will we be raising vital funds to support more families, but we'll also be able to share our passion and enthusiasm for achieving life changing outcomes for children with various conditions including cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delay, Sensory Processing, and Down syndrome."

"The pop-up shop will be located in Circus Road, opposite the outdoor circus area, so come rain or shine, make sure to stop by and show your support for Brainwave's important work.

"If you are not going to the festival this year, you can still support the charity, by donating your pre-loved items to help stock their shop."
