SOPHIE Phillips has confirmed that she will remain Bridgwater & Albion RFC's Womens head coach for next season.

She has taken the quality of women's rugby at the club to the next level in recent seasons and will look to further progress it next season.

Director of rugby at Bridgwater & Albion RFC, Geoff Sluman, said: "I am delighted that Sophie will be coaching the Women's team again.

"Sophie's playing experience is of the highest level having played for Bristol Bears in the Premier 15s. She has great knowledge of the game and is able to translate all that she knows to pass on her experience in the squad.

"We are very lucky to have Sophie coaching and I would like to say a massive thank you to her."

The club has a growing squad of 25 players, and are always looking for more women who are either looking for a new team or just want to give rugby a go.
