A LOCAL pet care businesswoman has been named one of the UK's most inspirational and dynamic female entrepreneurs by the f:Entrepreneur #ialso100 campaign.
Rebecca Wilson founded Friends for Pets in 2008 in Bridgwater.
Now based in Cheddar, the local pet care company's founder has been named as one of the 100 influential entrepreneurs celebrate the multi-achievements of women running businesses in the UK today.
The f:Entrepreneur campaign was launched in 2017 to raise greater awareness of the impact of incredible female business owners across the country, and help provide inspiration and role models to the wider small business community.
It is being delivered by Small Business Britain the campaign offers a host of events, training, and networking opportunities to boost skills, capability, and confidence.
Rebecca Wilson was commended for her mentorship she gives to other female entrepreneurs through Friends for Pets franchise packages.
She said: “I am thrilled to be included in the f:Entrepreneur Top 100 list! I love what I do as a job and it is a great privilege to be able to help other entrepreneurs succeed in fulfilling their ambitions.”
This year's f:Entrepreneur campaign celebrates inspiring and resilient female entrepreneurs that have flourished despite the challenges of the past years, with many still growing or starting new ventures.
Both f:Entrepreneur and Small Business Britain were founded by Michelle Ovens CBE, who is also the director of Small Business Saturday UK.
