A CIVIL engineering firm in Bridgwater is supporting its employees through the cost-of-living crisis with £250 living supplements.
As well as the cheques, the directors of the RK Bell Group have also given their employees company-branded hats and gloves.
Managing director Nick Bell explained that the directors had discussed how the company could best help their employees during the cost-of-living crisis.
He said: “Despite the current uncertainty in our industry, I am pleased to say that the directors and I have given our employees a £250 cost of living supplement.
“The hope is that this will go some way in helping to decrease the impact of the current cost-of-living crisis.
“The positive feedback that we have received from our staff has shown us that it has meant a lot to them.”
One RK Bell employee said it was “a genuine and thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated, especially at this time”.
