ONE of the foremost collectors event of its kind in the district is returning to Kilve on Easter Monday (March 24).
The annual Antiques and Collectors Fair will be held in the gracious surroundings of Kilve Court and is organised by members of the local St Mary's Church.
The event is always aimed as being one of the major fund raising events of the church's restoration fund and, in 2008, the monies raised from the Antiques Fair will be used for continuing of the upkeep of the church fabric and support other village organisations.
Members of the church have recently completed the second phase of the ambitious restoration programme by overhauling the main roof, renovating the nave and the rendering of the porch walls.
Dorothy Lloyd, chief organiser of the fair, said: "One again, all available space for the various stalls has been allocated which omens well for the many visitors that the fair usually attracts.
"Facilities at the Fair include car parking and an all day service of refreshments including the service of light lunches."The fair opens at 10am and remains open until 4pm.
