FIRE crews are still at the scene of a major hay fire near Taunton this morning.
The fire service was called to land between the M5 motorway and the Blackbrook Tavern pub at around 3.30pm yesterday.
Around 100 tonnes of hay were well alight and burned throughout the night.
Smoke from the fire drifted across the motorway but all roads in the area remained open.
The Blackbrook Tavern was unaffected.
