TAUNTON'S East Reach has been reopened following a gas leak alert earlier today.
The road was sealed off from the Racehorse pub to South Street after a car crashed into a gas main and shop front at about 10.25am.
Emergency service personnel evacuated homes and businesses in the area as a precaution following the incident.
It is not thought anyone was injured in the crash or gas leak.
